Q: Is it related to the results presented before? Do you consider them as coherent?

A: Very good

Comments: The Discussion section not only analyses the different factors responsible for the pathogenesis of pulmonary hypertension (PH) but also provides useful information on various treatment options for treating underlying plasma cell dyscrasia (PCD). It elaborates on the importance of right heart catheterization (RHC) as a diagnostic method and autologous stem cell transplantation in the treatment of PH associated with POEMS syndrome. Figures and tables are also briefly explained.

Further comments on the paper

Comments: This is the first case report, involving a 65-year-old female with pulmonary hypertension (PH) associated with POEMS syndrome, demonstrating the significance of autologous stem cell transplantation (ASCT) as a life-prolonging treatment option for treating plasma cell dyscrasia (PCD) with improved survival and better outcomes. The improvement in hemodynamics measured by right heart catheterization (RHC) concludes the accuracy and precision of RHC in detecting changes in hemodynamics and is considered as the gold standard for the diagnosis of PH.

Q: Would you recommend this manuscript for further publication?
