A: Good

Discussion & Conclusion

Q: Is it related to the results presented before? Do you consider them as coherent?

A: Good

Comments: The Discussion gives an overview of the cause of primary hyperthyroidism (PHPT). The authors explained the possible symptoms and surgical procedures of PHPT, providing relevant literature. The case is considered the first report of EUS-guided injection of a radioactive tracer (99mTc-HSA). The authors also suggests that the use of the method for preoperative labelling of retroesophageally located tumors may be helpful to the surgeons for precise and less invasive surgical excision.

Writing style

Q: Is it clear and understandable?

Further comments on the paper

Comments: The manuscript illustrates an innovative approach to endosonographic radioactive labeling of an electric parathyroid adenoma with the help of Technetium-99m human serum albumin. The case presents a 73-year-old patient who was diagnosed with subclinical primary hyperparathyroidism. The case mainly highlights the surgical procedure of an ectopic retroesophageal adenoma resected under gamma-probe guidance after preoperative radioactive targeting.

Q: Would you recommend this manuscript for further publication?

A: Yes - Suitable to be published

If you have any questions and clarifications you can write to the journal.
