Review Data
Q: Is the topic relevant to the journal area of interest? Is it contemporary and interesting for
researchers?
A: Good
Abstract & Keywords
Q: Are all required components included in the abstract? Are the keywords appropriately chosen?
A: Good
Comments: The 4th sentence of the 2nd paragraph of the Abstract should be reframed as “Nine months later, a sub-complete cytoreductive surgery (CRS) with Mitomycin C HIPEC (hyperthermic intraperitoneal chemotherapy) was performed”.
Goal
Q: Is the goal explicitly stated in the Introduction? Is its formulation clear and unambiguous?
A: Good
Structure
Q: Is the paper's structure coherent? Is it in coherence with the goal of the paper?
A: Good
Tools and Methods
Q: Are methods the author uses adequate and well used?
A: Good
Discussion & Conclusion
Q: Is it related to the results presented before? Do you consider them as coherent?
A: Very good
Comments:
The case description is adequate. The Discussion provides a brief idea about the origin of teratoma associated with pseudomyxoma peritonei and discusses adequate literature relevant to this study. It further analyses the efficacy of cytoreductive surgery (CRS) with Mitomycin C HIPEC (hyperthermic intraperitoneal chemotherapy) which has proved to be the first-line treatment with a better outcome.

Q: Does the author use them suitably? Are legend and notations clear?
A: Very good
Writing style
Q: Is it clear and understandable?
A: Good
Further comments on the paper
Comments: This case report presents a 55-year-old patient with a history of five surgeries for mature teratoma excision associated with pseudomyxoma peritonei (PMP). This is the first reported case of PMP originating as a mature teratoma recurrence in a man. This study focuses on the significance of two-stage cytoreductive surgery (CRS) with Mitomycin C HIPEC (hyperthermic intraperitoneal chemotherapy) which lowers the chances of recurrence and appears to be a gold standard treatment till date.
Q: Would you recommend this manuscript for further publication?
A: Yes-Suitable to be published
If you have any questions and clarifications you can write to the journal.
