Angiosarcoma Secondary to a Paget’s Disease: A Rare Clinical Case With 5 Years of Follow-Up and Review of the Literature

Purpose and Significance of Study: This is a report of a very rare case (only two cases in literature) of angiosarcoma secondary to pagetic bones. It also offers some suggestions regarding the treatment of this unique condition.

Fit with Scope of Journal: The manuscript is of very high interest for the journal Case Reports and Series in Surgery.

There are a few very minor errors in the manuscript (already corrected in the galley proof) which are listed below –

The common ones are –

·       Omission of “,”, e.g., after “paper” in the 1st sentence of the 2nd paragraph of the Abstract, after “patients” in the 2nd paragraph of the Introduction, and so on.

·       Omission of articles, e.g., “the” before “most” in the last sentence of the 2nd paragraph of the Discussion, “a” before “conventional” in the 2nd sentence of the 3rd paragraph of the Discussion, and so on.

·       The ages of patients must be in the format “X-year-old”.

·       Usage of incorrect prepositions, e.g., “into” in the 2nd sentence of the Abstract must be replaced with “as”, “of” in the last sentence of the Abstract must be replaced with “in”, and so on.

In the Title –

·       “a” before “Paget’s disease” must be removed, and “case clinic” must be replaced with “clinical case”.

In the Abstract –

  In the 1st paragraph –

·       In the last sentence, “usually” must be replaced with “often” as it has been already used once in the sentence.

  In the 2nd paragraph –

·       In the 2nd sentence, “a” before “tumor” must be removed.

In the Introduction –

  In the 1st paragraph –

·       In the 3rd sentence, “results” must be replaced with “becomes”.

In the Case Report –

  In the 1st paragraph –

·       In the 2nd sentence, “X-rays” must be replaced with “X-ray”, and “show” must be replaced with “showed”.

  In the 7th paragraph –

·       In the 1st sentence, “that” must be replaced with “which”, and “that were” must be inserted after “margins”.

In the Discussion –

  In the 2nd paragraph –

·       In the last sentence, “,” after “are” and “:” after “order” must be removed.

  In the 8th paragraph –

·       In the 1st sentence, “patient” must be replaced with “patient’s”.

  In the 10th paragraph –

·       “describes” must be replaced with “described”, and “who” must be inserted before “underwent”.
