Malignant Transformation of Craniopharyngioma after Growth Hormone Replacement Therapy

Purpose and Significance of Study: This manuscript depicts the case of a 43-year-old male patient with craniopharyngioma which started to show malignant growth following growth hormone replacement therapy more than 24 years after first becoming symptomatic and undergoing remission following surgical treatment.  

 

Fit with Scope of Journal: The manuscript is of very high interest for the journal Case Reports and Series in Surgery. 

 

o   The manuscript is mostly error-free. A few minor errors ware listed below – 

 

·       “et al” must be followed by “.” 

·       In the 3rd sentence of Case Description in the Abstract as well an the main text, “removal was performed” must be replaced with “was removed”. 

·       “,” before “thus” must be replaced with “;”. 

·       Omission of “,” in a few places, e.g., after “achieved” in the 5th sentence of the Case Description in the Abstract section, after “2 years later” in the 6th sentence of the same paragraph, and so on.
