Further comments on the paper
Comments: This case report describes an unusual case of urethral sounding with a knitting needle in a 68-year-old male, that penetrated the adipose tissue near the rectum requiring a mini-invasive procedure with local anesthesia. This study holds significance because though relatively uncommon, the practice of urethral sounding isn’t that rare within urological consultations. Also, there aren’t numerous cases reported in the literature.
