Comments:
Minor errors were found in the manuscript:
· The words “justarticular myxoma” and “juxarticular myxoma” should be replaced with “juxta-articular myxoma” throughout the text.
· The sentence “Patient no presented neurological deficit” under Physical examination results should be reframed as “The patient presented no neurological deficit”.
The consistency of this reframed sentence must be confirmed in context with the case presented.
· The word “mesenchimal” in the first sentence under Discussion must be corrected to “mesenchymal”.
· Commas were missing at multiple places throughout the text.

Discussion & Conclusion
Q: Is it related to the results presented before? Do you consider them as coherent?
A: Very good
Comments:
The study discusses about the rarity of the condition, with its incidence reported to be one per million individuals, most frequently diagnosed in female patients between 40-70 years. The Discussion section explains the challenges in treating the patient in the present case clearly. It also offers useful suggestions with respect to the treatment regimen. The case report is well supported with figures. Given the benign nature of intraoperative histological exams, only the portion causing the compression and symptoms was removed in this case, avoiding a longer and unnecessary procedure.

Further comments on the paper
Comments: This case report describes paraspinal muscles juxta-articular myxoma of the lumbar region in a 61-year-old man causing back pain and sciatica. The study is of significance as myxomas of the paravertebral muscle are relatively rare and only few cases have been described in literature, with juxta-articular myxoma on facet joint being extraordinary. Further, the patient underwent surgical excision, with complete relief of symptoms afterwards.
Q: Would you recommend this manuscript for further publication?
