Purpose and Significance of Study: This is a unique report of a case of colonic obstruction by sigmoid volvulus in a mentally impaired patient affected by Ogilvie syndrome and giant Bochdalek hernia.
Fit with Scope of Journal: The manuscript is of very high interest for the journal Surgical Case Reports.
The manuscript contains a few minor errors (already corrected in the galley proof) are required in the text, which are listed below –
The common errors are –
· Using “in” in place of “of” after “consist”.
· Omission of articles, e.g., “an” before “emergency” in the 6th sentence of the Abstract, “a” before “young” in the 2nd sentence of the 1st paragraph of the Introduction, and so on.
· Omission of “,”, e.g., after “resected” in the 9th sentence of the Case presentation, after “therefore” in the next sentence, and so on.
· “Postoperative” must always be written without hyphen to maintain consistency.

· In the 5th sentence, “and” before “found” must be removed.
In the Introduction –
In the 1st paragraph –
· In the last sentence, “are” must be replaced with “is”.
In the 4th paragraph –
· “have” must be replaced with “has”.
In the last paragraph –
· In the last sentence, “peculiar” is misspelled, “:” must be replaced with “–”, and “which” must be replaced with “what”.
In the Case Presentation –
· In the 2nd sentence, “were” before “reported” must be replaced with “was”.
· In the 10th sentence, “an” before “Hartmann” must be replaced with “a”.
· In the last sentence, “movement” is misspelled.
In the Discussion –
In the 1st paragraph –
· In the 1st sentence, “raise” must be replaced with “raises”, and “:” must be replaced with “–”.
In the 2nd paragraph –
· In the 2nd sentence, “drugs” must be replaced with “drug”.
In the 3rd paragraph –
· In the 1st sentence, “patient” must be replaced with “patients”.
· In the 4th sentence, “serum” must instead be placed before “inflammatory”.
· In the 5th sentence, “laboratory examinations” must be removed.
In the 4th paragraph –
· In the 2nd sentence, “purpose” must be replaced with “purposes”.
· In the 6th sentence, “, both” must be removed.
In the 5th paragraph –
· In the 2nd sentence, “prosthetic” is misspelled.
In the Conclusions –
· In the 1st sentence, “,” after “hernia” must be removed, “results” must be replaced with “result”, and “both” must instead be placed after “concerning”.
· In the last sentence, “an” before “ongoing” must be removed.
