Factors Affecting Long-Term Survival in Acute Myeloid Leukemia

Purpose and Significance of Study: This is a review of the existing literature with respect to the factors that affect long-term survival in acute myeloid leukemia.

Fit with Scope of Journal: The manuscript is of very high interest for the journal Clinical Oncology and Research.

 

o   The manuscript has a few minor errors (already corrected in the galley proof, except the highlighted ones which require the author’s attention) are listed below –

 

In the Abstract –

·       In the last sentence, “pieces” must be inserted before “literatures”, and “literature” must be replaced with “literature”.

In the Introduction –

·       In the 2^nd sentence, “malignant tumor” must be replaced with “malignancy”.

·       In the 3^rd sentence, “will” must be removed.

For Point 1 –

·       In the last sentence, “were” must be replaced with “was”.

For Point 2 –

·       The 1^st sentence “Wang…itself” is extremely long and incorrectly constructly, making it very hard to read or understand. So, it must be replaced.

·       In the 2^nd sentence, “of” before “AML” must be replaced with “in”, and “was” before “M3” must be replaced with “comprised”.

·       In the 3^rd sentence, “the” before “older” must be removed, “the” must be inserted before “patients”, “are” and “will be” must be removed, and “infectious” must be replaced with “infections,”.

For Point 3 –

·       The 6^th sentence “Wang Yaping…survival time” is extremely long and incorrectly constructly, making it very hard to read or understand. So, it must be replaced.

For Point 4 –

·       In the last sentence, “second tumor” must be replaced with “secondary tumor”.
