A B S T R A C T
Percutaneous transluminal coronary angioplasty is a useful management strategy in the treatment of
ischemic heart disease, nevertheless, complex percutaneous coronary interventions could result in device
fracture or dislodgement. We report and discuss a case of successful retrieval of fractured guide wire from
a bypass graft - native vessel anastomosis using the twisting wire technique.
