A: Good

Comments: The Discussion elaborates nodular fasciitis with its site of occurrence, its morphological spectrum, and frequency of appearance among the population providing relevant literature. This further highlights that the newer publications indicated the possibility of malignant transformation in isolated cases, so there is a need to establish the complete surgical resection as the therapy of choice.

Comments: There are certain errors found in the manuscript which are as follows:

·       In Abstract, 5th sentence, “the primary complete resection has also to be discussed” can be reframed as “the complete primary resection also has to be discussed”.

·       In Case report, 1st paragraph, 2nd sentence, “The parents report on a swelling of the young boy’s left shoulder/pectoralis muscle” must be written as “The parents reported swelling of the young boy’s left shoulder/pectoralis muscle”.

·       Other than the above two points, there were few grammatical errors that have been modified.

Further comments on the paper

Comments: This Case Report presents a 7-year-old boy with posttraumatic intramuscular nodular fasciitis. After all histopathological investigation and clinical imaging, an incisional biopsy was suggested. Later a complete surgical resection with the preservation of the muscle was performed to treat the disease.
