Further, the discussion suggest that a high index of suspicion should be maintained for gallstone ectopia which would include all patients with a history of cholecystectomy or other imaging for proper diagnosis.

Comments: The Case Report presents a 69-year-old man with the history of cholecystectomy complicated by intra-abdominal abscesses and retained gallstone remnants requiring laparoscopic extraction. The patient was mainly concerned for gallstone ectopia in the lungs. The authors briefly gave the overview of the case and described the treatment procedure.
