Comments:
The case descriptions are adequate. The Discussion section discusses current literature regarding diagnosis, treatment, and prognosis in small cell carcinoma of the breast. Extrapulmonary small cell cancers are rare, and treatment regimens have generally followed lung treatment plans. The Discussion puts forth the rationale for taking up the study, effectively describes the relevant literature and enlists the implications of the findings from the present study in that context. It also offers useful suggestions with respect to the treatment regimen. The report aptly recommends collection of information about these rare tumors for guiding treatment in the future.

Further comments on the paper
Comments: This case report presents two cases of triple-negative small cell carcinoma of the breast. This study holds significance as primary small cell carcinoma of the breast is rare and the majority of the medical literature about breast small cell carcinoma is individual case reports. Both the patients in the study responded to neoadjuvant cisplatin/etoposide, although the patient in case two did not have a lasting response.
Q: Would you recommend this manuscript for further publication?
A: Yes - Suitable to be published
If you have any questions and clarifications you can write to the journal.
