A: Good
Tools and Methods
Q: Are methods the author uses adequate and well used?
A: Good
Discussion & Conclusion
Q: Is it related to the results presented before? Do you consider them as coherent?
A: Good
Comments: The Discussion provides an overview of glioblastoma and indicates the importance of early diagnosis of the pathology of the tumor for definitive treatment. The Discussion further establishes the case report illustrating relevant literature. The Conclusion suggests endoscopic tumor biopsy for deep-seated tumors. Lastly, it adds that the suggested biopsy approach provides a high diagnostic yield and can aid in further management of associated hydrocephalus.

Comments: There are few errors found in the manuscript which are as follows:
· Under Introduction, 2nd paragraph, 3rd sentence, “Endoscopic biopsy aids in direct visualization of the intraventricular anatomy and enabling precise pathologically representative sample of a lesion representative sample of a lesion” is rewritten as “endoscopic biopsy aids direct visualization of the intraventricular anatomy and enables precise pathologically representative samples of a lesion representative sample of a lesion.”
· Under Case Report, 2nd paragraph, 2nd sentence, “Intraoperatively, a rigid neuroendoscope was inserted thru the corticectomy done on the patient’s Kocher’s point” must be “Intraoperatively, a rigid neuroendoscope was inserted through the corticectomy done on the patient’s Kocher’s point.”
Further comments on the paper
Comments: The manuscript puts forth an endoscopic intraventricular approach in glioblastoma. The Case presents a 58-year-old female Filipino with periventricular mass. The case showed a year history of generalized headache that suddenly developed left-sided weakness accompanied by disorientation and changes in mood and behavior. The report provides a unique endoscopic biopsy approach in obtaining a histopathologic diagnosis from a deeply located periventricular mass. The Case report further describes the clinical and histopathologic features of the periventricular mass followed by the correct diagnosis and treatment.
Q: Would you recommend this manuscript for further publication?
