Comments:

The Discussion illustrates the site of occurrence, the nature, and symptoms of mediastinal lipoblastoma. It also emphasizes on the fact that despite being benign in nature, it can spread steadily with potential for local invasion and cause rapid growth. It stands as a rarer case report among two other literature reported till date. This further stresses on the proper differentiation between adipose tissue tumors in order to provide appropriate treatments.

Further comments on the paper

Comments: This rare case presents a 2-year-old boy with shortness of breath and cough for one month with past medical history of mild bronchial asthma, later diagnosed as anterior superior mediastinal lipoblastoma that resulted in ipsilateral diaphragm eventration and upper airway compression. It further explains that it is difficult to diagnose and differentiate the exact tumor prior to surgery and histological study, stating that familiarization with the tumor is necessary to differentiate lipoblastoma from other tumors.

Q: Would you recommend this manuscript for further publication?

A: Yes - Suitable to be published

If you have any questions and clarifications you can write to the journal.
