Purpose and Significance of Study: The manuscript comprises two cases of right ventricular outflow tract reconstruction during double lung transplant, and thereby presents this as a viable option in the population with severe pulmonary artery dilation and concomitant pulmonary valve disease.
Fit with Scope of Journal: The manuscript is of very high interest for the journal Surgical Case Reports.
The manuscript is well-written. Some very minor changes (already corrected in the galley proof) are required in the text, which are listed below –
The common errors are –
· Omission of “the”, e.g., before “time” in the 2nd sentence of the Abstract, in the 1st sentence of the Introduction, and so on.
· Omission of “,”, e.g., before “including” in the 1st sentence of the 2nd paragraph of Patient 1, after “repair” in the 8th sentence in the 2nd paragraph of Patient 2, and so on.
· “One month” and “intervention free” must be hyphenated.
· “Postoperative” must always be written as a single word, and without a hyphen to maintain consistency.
The other errors are –
In the Title –
· “at time of” must be replaced with “during”.
In the Introduction –
· In the 4th sentence, “,” after “valve” must be replaced with “;”.
Under Patient 1 –
In the 3rd paragraph –
· In the 1st sentence, “clamshell” must be written as a single word.
