Purpose and Significance of Study: The manuscript, with the help of 5 cases, proposes solutions with respect to the handling methods and difficulties involved in the case of instrument separation outside the root canal. This is a common problem encountered in root canal therapy which deserves attention.
Fit with Scope of Journal: The manuscript is of very high interest for the journal Dental Oral Biology and Craniofacial Research.
o There are some minor errors in the manuscript (already corrected in the galley proof), which are listed below –
· Omission of spaces between words in numerous places throughout the text.
· Omission of “,” in many places, e.g., after “experience” in the 4th sentence in the Abstract section.
· Using number instead of words to denote sing-digit numbers, e.g., “2” in the 1st sentence of Case 1.
· Omission of “the” in a few places, e.g., before “root apex” in the 3rd sentence of Case 2.
· In the Introduction section, in the 3rd sentence, “the” before “teeth” must be removed.
· Under Case 4, in the 6th sentence, “to restore” must be replaced with “restoring”; in the 8th sentence, “in” before “the palatal” must be replaced with “on”; in the 9th sentence, “the” after “no” must be removed.
· Under Case 5, in the 12th sentence, “searching repeatedly” must be replaced with “repeatedly searching”.
· In the Discussion section, in the 4th paragraph, in the 12th sentence, “partial” must be replaced with “parts of”; in the last paragraph, in the last sentence, “remove” must be replaced with “removal”.
