Abstract: Patients with hematological malignancies are at increased risk for severe COVID-19 with a high mortality
rate. In AML, more and more patients are treated on an outpatient basis. This gives rise to two dilemmas
in the face of COVID-19. The first one is whether to temporarily interrupt the oral antileukemia treatment
and the second one is which patients should be intubated. Here, we describe our institutional approach and
