While most of these tumors are benign, malignant potential exists. Malignant granular cell tumors behave aggressively and are associated with poor outcomes. However, the distinction can be difficult at initial diagnosis. This case describes the presentation of a benign cutaneous granular cell tumor to a remote health service in Northwest Queensland, Australia.
